Next on our list of wedding venue features we have a recent favorite of mine, the beautiful Farm and Clubhouse of Kukui’ula on the island of Kauai! For anyone new to this series, be sure to check out the other venues featured on this list after you’ve finished reading about Kukui’ula. We’ve covered Lanikuhonua on Oahu, Beach House on Kauai, Sugar Beach Events on Maui, and Four Seasons Resort at Ko Olina on Oahu. For now though, let’s take a look at what makes Kukui’ula such a breathtaking and unique venue!

What Makes Kukui’ula a Special Wedding Venue?

So what makes Kukui’ula such an amazing wedding venue? For starters, there are multiple spaces available for you to use on your wedding day. The Farm is the perfect space for your ceremony, a glass of champagne afterward, and some newlywed portraits. The massive tree is the centerpiece of this space, and it truly speaks for itself in terms of beauty for your ceremony space. The great lawn is then available for your reception with an enormous tent for you and your guests to celebrate under, rain or shine! To really appreciate how wonderful these spaces are you need to see them in action, so look no further than Mariel and Mick’s or Liz and Chris’ weddings here for a look at what’s possible!

Amenities

Aside from the spaces available and the tent for use at your reception that I mentioned earlier, what other amenities does the venue offer? Part of what makes Kukui’ula unique as a wedding venue is that they are an all-inclusive wedding venue! This means when you book with Kukui’ula they’ll take care of everything. From your food and beverages to seating and décor, and even your vendors everything is covered. This means you can relax and trust that the venue is going to provide the best possible experience for you to enjoy on your wedding day. You will have to book your own photo and video team, though I, and the rest of Olson Productions would be happy to cover you in that area!

Travel and Stay

What do the travel and stay accommodations look like for anyone looking to attend your destination wedding at Kukui’ula then? The easiest way to get to the island is via a direct flight to Lihue Airport, which is only around a 25 minute drive from the venue itself. If that isn’t a possibility though, flying to either Maui or Oahu and then taking a short inter-island flight to Kauai is also an option! As far as booking somewhere to stay, there are lodges available for booking on site at Kukui’ula if some guests would like to go that route. Otherwise, there are PLENTY of resorts to choose from throughout the region of Poipu, something that Kukui’ula is a part of as well.

Booking Kukui’ula as Your Wedding Venue

When it comes to booking Kukui’ula as your wedding venue, there are a couple of ways to go about it. The first and most straightforward is if you or a family member owns property on site, in that case, you do not have to pay the site fee for your wedding to take place there. For those that do not own or have a family member that owns the property, there is a site fee of $25,000 to reserve the space. This is part of what makes Kukui’ula so unique as a wedding venue, this exclusive and one-of-a-kind experience that you can’t get from any other wedding venue!

Kukui’ula may not be a wedding venue for everyone, but if a more luxurious and high-end experience is something you’re searching for then it’s definitely a venue you have to keep on your radar!
