Why Should You Book Your Wedding with Sugar Beach Events

Sugar Beach Events in Maui offers a true and authentic wedding day experience in the Hawaiian Islands. The venue has a beachfront property so there’s easy access to the beautiful white sandy beach. Not only that though, Sugar Beach Events also has outdoor and indoor spaces for your wedding day. This means that no matter the weather and style of wedding you’re hoping to have, Sugar Beach has you covered!

What Makes Sugar Beach Events Special?

As I mentioned and as the name suggests Sugar Beach Events is right on one of Maui’s breathtaking beaches, meaning you’ll have SO many opportunities for amazing portrait photos throughout your wedding day. The outdoor and indoor event spaces themselves are also beautiful in their own right. The outdoor area is ideal for a ceremony overlooking the ocean and has this immaculate garden wall that lines the entrance for the ceremony and makes for a beautiful backdrop for some portraits.

The indoor space has tall ceilings giving the space a larger than life feel. Complete with a beautiful Koa wood bar, a loft overlooking the indoor reception space, and massive windows looking out over the ocean. Other amenities include on-site getting-ready spaces for both the bride and groom and their respective wedding parties which is huge! There are also 41 on-site parking spaces, an outdoor bar, an on-site kitchen, and in-house rentals for tables and other furniture needs.

What Size Weddings is Sugar Beach able to Host?

Another reason that I love Sugar Beach Events is how the venue is perfectly able to host more intimate weddings while also being perfectly suited for large gatherings as well. The guest cap for Sugar Beach is 300, so if you’re planning on inviting everyone to your wedding Sugar Beach has you covered. Intimate weddings fit the space just as nicely though if that’s more your style.

Travel and Stay

With Sugar Beach being on Maui it makes traveling and finding a place to stay for your friends and family a breeze. Fly into Maui’s Kahului Airport which is only a simple 15-minute drive away from the venue. With Sugar Beach Events being located on one of the most beautiful beaches of Maui there are plenty of options nearby for your wedding guests to stay. Whether they want to stay at Sugar Beach Resort, Nani Kai Hale, Kealia Resort, or one of the other nearby resorts there are so many options keeping travel simple and short for your guests! You can also search through sites like Vrbo for additional nearby options for your stay.

Important Things to Note

When looking into booking Sugar Beach Events for your dream wedding day in Hawaii there are some key things to be aware of. First, the venue does require that every wedding has an on-island professional event planner for their date. This is honestly great though as they’ll help to ensure that your wedding runs smoothly and exactly how you want it! Sugar Beach also has a preferred vendor list that you can work with for your wedding. They do allow other vendors to apply to this list though, so if you have someone in mind that isn’t on their list get them to apply ASAP for approval. With 41 parking spaces available on-site Sugar Beach recommends that for larger weddings guests either carpool or use the shuttle service at Sugar Beach for transport.
