It’s time for another spotlight on one of my favorite wedding venues throughout the Hawaiian Islands. In this article we’ll be covering Beach House which is one of the best, if not THE best, wedding venues on the island of Kauai. From its incredible service to its jaw dropping ocean views, there are SO many reasons to love this venue which we’ll go over throughout this article.

Why Book Beach House on Kauai for Your Wedding?

Beach House on Kauai is a top Hawaiian wedding venue of mine for a number of reasons. As you can see from the photos throughout the blog the venue is spectacularly beautiful. Not only that though Beach House and it’s staff are committed to providing a top notch experience for all their wedding couples which is something that really resonates with me. From the moment you book your wedding day at Beach House through the actual day of your wedding they are there to help guide you every step of the way. So if you want a wedding where the service and experience is as top tier as it’s setting you MUST consider Beach House for your wedding day.

How Many Guests Can Attend?

One of the best features of Beach House on Kauai is how flexible the venue is when it comes to the size and scale of your wedding. The restaurant has a variety of spaces available. Whether you want your wedding to be small and intimate, or a massive party where all of your people are invited, Beach House has you covered. The maximum guest count goes all the way up to 300 guests in which case you’d rent out the entire restaurant and their space for the day. As I mentioned though smaller ceremonies here work just as well if not even better. The outdoor event space has a maximum capacity of 135 guests, so plan accordingly depending on whether you’re wanting an indoor or outdoor reception for your celebrations!

What Portrait Opportunities are Available?

Beach House’s outdoor wedding ceremony space has one of my favorite backdrops for portraits on the island of Kauai. The backdrop of the ocean on its own is stunning, but once sunset comes around it is next level beautiful. A great thing about weddings at Beach House is that your wedding day is actually scheduled around the sunset of a given day so that you’ll have optimal time to get as many portraits with it as your heart desires. The views aren’t the only thing Beach House has to offer though, the outdoor space itself is lovely with the outdoor tent as a special highlight. A night under the string lights of the tent feels absolutely magical.

Travel and Stay

Even though Beach House is on one of the smaller islands of Hawaii, getting to and staying on Kauai is surprisingly simple. Lihue Airport is the island’s main airport which you are able to fly directly into. The other option for airlines that do not fly directly to Lihue is to fly into either the Maui or Honolulu airport where you can take a short inter-island flight to Kauai. Once you and your wedding guests are on Kauai the Lihue airport is only a short 30 minute drive from Beach House!

There are a lot of options when it comes to locations for you to stay at once on Kauai. There are plenty of Vrbo’s in the nearby town of Poipu, and there are also some nearby resorts with some incredible amenities such as the Grand Hyatt, the Sheraton, and Koloa Landing. When it comes time to head to Beach House on Kauai for your wedding day specifically it’s important to note that there is only a limited amount of self parking spaces available on site. The venue does offer a valet service though to keep things simple for you and your guests!

What Sets Beach House Kauai Apart as a Wedding Venue?

Beach House on Kauai is a favorite wedding venue of mine for a number of reasons, many of which revolve around keeping things as simple and stress free for the couple as possible. When you book with Beach House you are assigned a wedding coordinator who will help you with every step of your wedding planning process as well as an on site event coordinator for the wedding day itself. Their packages are customizable to best fit each couple’s needs. They send a questionnaire to all their clients for their décor preferences to make sure your wedding day looks exactly how you dreamt it would.

Among providing all these services as well as other amenities like bar service, incredible food, table and decor set up, and more the venue is also STUNNINGLY gorgeous. From the incredible backdrop of the ocean to the insane sunsets which Beach House times your ceremony around, the venue truly speaks for itself in terms of beauty!

Important Things to Note

One of the main things to be aware of when having your wedding day at Beach House is that with it being a restaurant they do not have a bridal suite for the bride to get ready in. Restrooms are available for last minute wardrobe fixes, and the manager’s office is available for the bride to wait in before the ceremony begins to avoid seeing the groom prior. You will have to get ready beforehand though. Beach House also does not allow any DIY decor, and they coordinate all the services and amenities. While this might be a turn off for anyone looking to DIY their wedding day, it honestly keeps things so much more simple and less stressful for the couple as a whole.

After reading everything here my love for Beach House as a wedding venue on Kauai should come as a surprise to no one! If you’re looking to book your day with them be sure to reach out to see if your date is available.
