I am SO excited to share with you all some of my favorite photos from Victoria and Byron’s engagement session at Waimanalo Beach on Oahu! This beach is one of my favorite spots on the island for a number of reasons. From the dramatic views of the Mānana Island Seabird Sanctuary in the distance, to the epic sunsets that the beach is known for, there’s so much to love here. If this location sounds familiar to you it’s likely because I’ve photographed quite a few engagement sessions here, including this one!

About Victoria and Byron

Before we REALLY dive into Victoria and Byron’s engagement photos at Waimanalo Beach on Oahu, I wanted to take a quick moment to talk about these two wonderful people! Victoria and Byron booked me as their wedding photographer for their wedding coming up in the spring of 2024. I was beyond excited that they chose me to be their wedding photographer. This is because not only is their wedding going to be beautiful (just like their engagement session), but also because they’re such a fun couple to work with! They are so sweet, caring, and lighthearted, and these traits really shine through in their photos.

I could go on and on about how great Victoria and Byron are as people, and how excited I am for their wedding day, but I think it’s time we get to their engagement photos at Waimanalo Beach on Oahu! They started their sunset session in some more formal attire. We spent some time walking along the gorgeous beach with the stunning backdrop of Mānana Island and the mountains of Oahu behind us. From there the two changed into their more casual outfits. This part of the session was SO much fun as the two were down for anything, even rolling around in the sand and water in their jeans! Having these two distinct styles for an engagement session is something I always recommend, and something Victoria and Byron perfectly pulled off.
