Keely and Kamu’s beachside Oahu engagement session at Waimanalo Beach was AMAZING, they booked me as their wedding photographer next year, so we had so much fun getting to know each other before their wedding day at their engagement session! These two are such a fun couple, both to be around and work with. Kamu originally grew up in Hawaii, and the two bonded over their love of sports as he plays football professionally while Keely played soccer while in College. The two are a perfect match and I can’t wait to show you the highlights from their Hawaii sunset engagement session.

Their Beachside Engagement Session

As a Hawaii wedding photographer, I love spending time on each of the islands for my weddings and sessions. Getting to travel and explore all of these different islands, especially Oahu as a wedding photographer, is something that never gets old. And, if you know me and have been following my work for a while you know just how much I LOVE a beachside sunset!

For Keely and Kamu’s beachside engagement session, we chose to have it during one of these incredible sunsets Hawaii is known for. Keely and Kamu both wore all white for their engagement session which completed the dreamy vibe and feeling we were going for in their engagement photos. We had so much fun running along the beach and strolling through the water throughout their session. These two love to laugh together, and make each other laugh, so when it came to documenting these intimate moments they were natural. Their beachside Oahu engagement session has me beyond excited for their wedding next year, it will be so much fun and I cannot wait to document their day!

Engagement Sessions as an Oahu Wedding Photographer

When a couple hires me as their Oahu wedding photographer I offer to add an engagement session to their package which I always recommend. Engagement sessions are both fun for you as a couple, but also SUPER helpful for us as clients and photographers. It becomes a space to break the ice before your wedding, so you know what to expect when it comes to photos on your wedding day. Along with breaking the ice, it also gives us the opportunity to document your life as you are right now. The way you laugh together and love one another is something that every couple should have documented. Capturing these emotions is one of my favorite parts of photography as it allows you to look back on them and relive this time as it happened which is so special.
