Loulu Palm on the island of Oahu is one of my favorite wedding venues on the island, hence why it made my list of top 5 venues. I’ve documented a TON of weddings here and featured some of my favorites on the blog like Tamara and Logan’s, Samantha and Montana’s, and Presley and Able’s. Today’s blog is extra special though, as today I get to feature Kallyn and Suzan’s intimate LGBTQ wedding at the Oahu, Hawaii wedding venue! I’m ecstatic these two chose me to document their day and I cannot wait to share it here with you all!
Intimate LGBTQ Wedding Ceremony on Oahu, Hawaii
I met up with Kallyn and Suzan at Loulu Palm with them both in their wedding dresses and beaming with joy. We took some time at the start of the day for some couples portraits and family portraits in the lawn of Loulu Palm as the space is simply gorgeous. The backdrop of lush greenery really gives you the feeling of being in a secluded tropical paradise for your wedding day. As the sun began to set it was time for Kallyn and Suzan’s ceremony to begin. The ceremony space at Loulu Palm overlooks the ocean and these two had THE most beautiful floral altar courtesy of Annie Lee Floral Designs for their ceremony. They walked across the grass of Loulu Palm towards the ceremony space one after another with their parents alongside them. The ceremony was beautiful, emotional, and absolutely FULL of love!
Their Intimate Reception at Loulu Palm
Kallyn, Suzan, and I had time after their ceremony for some newlywed portraits taking advantage of the stunning setting that is Loulu Palm. First we HAD to get some portraits with the floral altar I mentioned earlier before making our way down to the beach for sunset portraits. Loulu Palm is a fantastic wedding venue for a number of reasons, and one of those is its closeness and ease of access to the beach. Documenting Kallyn and Suzan’s pure joy with one another while on the beach really showcases just how perfect of a wedding day this was. To end the night off the two headed back up to the grounds of Loulu Palm for an intimate reception with their guests. The food was delicious, and the dance moves were on point. I’m so glad Kallyn and Suzan were able to celebrate their love alongside those they care about most.
Loulu Palm is easily one of my favorite wedding venues on Oahu, and was the ideal location for Kallyn and Suzan’s intimate LGBTQ wedding. I’m so happy for these two and so glad I was able to document their day. Head to my contact page to book me as your wedding photographer so that we can reserve your date today!
