Over the course of my career as a Hawaiian wedding photographer, I have visited some of the most beautiful wedding venues Hawaii has to offer. Many of my favorite wedding venues throughout the islands are on the island of Oahu. From gorgeous views and beautiful beach fronts to luscious greenery and towering palm trees, there’s something for everyone! So as not to overwhelm you with all the options throughout the islands, today we’re focusing on my top 5 favorite venues on the island of Oahu.

Loulu Palm

Starting off the list of Oahu wedding venues we have Loulu Palm. Loulu Palm is a beautiful beachfront wedding venue located on the north side of Oahu. Loulu Palm is located between the ocean and lush green mountains making it beautiful from every angle and an easy pick for one of the best venues in Oahu. The venue is known for its beautiful palm trees, hence the name, but has SO much more to offer as a wedding venue. Between the jaw-dropping views of the ocean and mountains, the abundance of space for your ceremony and reception, and the insane amount of equipment rentals they have available, there is so much to love about Loulu Palm.

Lanikūhonua

If you’re looking for a venue that is the perfect match for any size gathering, then look no further than Lanikūhonua! The venue has three different sites on the premises that you can use for your wedding day. Haʻalea, Ani Ani Ku, and Kaʻula are their names and are suitable for up to 150, 700, and 1,000 guests respectively. And if you plan to have a massive wedding and need even more space, you’re able to rent all three and have all the space you could possibly need! The wedding venue is located right on the southwest beachfront of Oahu and has the perfect combination of beautiful ocean views, lush greenery, and an expansive grass lawn perfect for your reception.

Kualoa Ranch

Found on the east side of Oahu, this wedding venue is a one-of-a-kind experience! Kualoa Ranch specializes in smaller, more intimate weddings, with their 2 different locations having capacities ranging between 200 and 250 guests. Trust me when I say that this venue provides a one-of-a-kind experience. You may recognize the landscape surrounding the venue if you’re familiar with the Jurassic Park films as a portion of the series was actually filmed here. Even if you’re not a fan of the films, it’s easy to see what makes this venue so special.

The lush green towering mountains give this incredibly epic feel to the venue’s grounds. And whether you opt for Paliku Gardens which looks over Kane’ohe Bay and Mokoli’i Island or Moli’i Gardens which looks out over an 800-year-old Hawaiian fishpond, you’re sure to have a wedding day that you’ll love to look back on for the rest of your life!

Sunset Ranch

Not just a wedding venue, Sunset Ranch is an actual ranch with a focus on sustainability and conservation in Hawaii. Sunset Ranch is located on the north side of Oahu and in addition to being a wedding venue has a horse ranch, botanical garden, avocado farm, and much more. The venue is surrounded by breathtaking greenery and incredible views of Oahu’s landscape making it easy to see why the ranch opted to start having weddings on their premises in addition to their other endeavors. Their goal is that couples and guests that experience a wedding on the ranch take their mission of conservation to heart and carry it with them, and once you see and experience this magical location you’ll be 100% on board!

Male’ana Gardens

Last but certainly not least we have Male’ana Gardens. The Male’ana Gardens are a wedding venue located on the east side of Oahu and focus on small, intimate weddings and elopements. With a max guest count of 20, this venue is perfect for couples looking to have their wedding day with only their favorite people in attendance, keeping things intimate and personal. The venue is the perfect mix of natural Hawaiian beauty and luxury and gives your wedding day a one-of-a-kind experience and setting.
