The Best Spots for Your Dream Oahu Elopement – I have outlined a few spots you might consider for your Oahu elopement.

Looking for the best places to Elope in Hawaii? Specifically where to Elope on Oahu, well you have come to the right place. Hawaii is the most magical place. There’s no doubt about it! It has a little bit of everything — from crystal clear water to towering mountains — and all of it comes with incredible weather year round. So, if you’re planning an elopement, I don’t think there’s any place better than Hawaii! And it’s impossible to talk about elopements in Hawaii without envisioning an Oahu elopement!

If you ask me, Oahu is easily Hawaii’s most versatile island. And that makes it an ideal spot for your dream elopement! But Oahu is a big island (but not THE big island) with a lot of options. So which should you go with? Well, that all depends on the vibe you’re seeking for your Oahu elopement!

You can choose to stay in Waikiki where you’ll be close to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The live music is incredible and you absolutely have to visit Hula pie and Dukes! Or you can head off to explore the west side of Oahu. This is the least busy area of the island, and I am convinced the west side has the best beaches! So, if the tropical resort feel is more up your alley, check out Ko Olina, an amazing resort community just west of Honolulu with 5 star hotels and delicious food options.

And finally, if you’re looking for something more laid back I recommend the north shore. With its local mom and pop shops, it’s a downright delight. Not to mention it has some of the best surfing and shaved ice!

There are four specific places I always recommend to couples when planning their full-service elopement: North Shore, Makapuu, and Crouching Lion!

I love north shore for all the variety it offers with limited travel time between amazing locations. The cliffs are very accessible and breathtaking. But there are also rolling hills, tide pools, large white sand beaches, and stunning mountains as a backdrop. And the sunset from the west side is the by far the best place on all of Oahu to catch the sunset!

Makpauu is another one of my favorites because you can easily get an amazing view of white sand beaches and turquoise blue water. The mountains that frame Makapuu are green all year long, and the combination is something this Oahu elopement photographer can’t get enough of! The beach has beautiful black rocks, palm trees, and is so, so clean! It’s also a dreamy spot for a post-elopement picnic, which is something we offer every couple we plan full-service elopements for! Take a peek at one of my recent Makpauu elopements HERE and HERE!

Finally, if you’re up for a bit of a hike to say “I do,” Crouching Lion is by far the most picture-perfect spot for an Oahu elopement. The jaw dropping, lush viewpoint overlooks Kahana Bay, and it’s absolutely unforgettable. It is a bit of a trek, so I recommend avoiding it if you or any of your guests have limited mobility, but the view at sunrise and sunset is SO worth the hike!

If you’re planning an upcoming Oahu elopement, I’d love to capture all the highlights as your elopement photographer! And the best part is, we take the stress of wedding planning off your plate. As a full-service Oahu elopement photographer and videographer team, we take care of everything. Learn more about what’s included HERE.

We also have a lot of off the grid secret spots, so if you are looking for an adventure elopement I can’t wait to share them with you! Just say hello HERE and let’s start planning
Are you eloping in Hawaii, but not Oahu? That’s great, too! I also have outlined a few of my favorite places to elope on Maui HERE and Kauai HERE.
