Engagement Session 2.0 and New Friends

When Paige and Quinn reached out to schedule their second round of engagements, they shared the sweetest note with me about why they wanted to do another set of engagements. And it stole my heart right away! 

Their story is similar to most 2020 couples: their big day had to be postponed. Because they’d already sent out one set of save the dates and now they needed to send a second to reschedule, Paige really wanted another set of pictures so the new postcards looked fresh. But she wanted to keep the excitement of their engagement going. And I’m so glad she did! The time spent during your engagement is so brief and unlike any other. It SHOULD be nothing short of amazing! Unfortunately, this year most couples haven’t been able to just experience the bliss. 

Getting to know Paige and Quinn and learning the story of their wedding planning adventure was so fun. They are such a beautiful reminder to follow your dreams and that things often have a way of working out. The pair are set to get married in Lahaina this fall, and because their wedding was cancelled and jobs were a little bit stagnant, they actually decided to make the MOVE to Maui! Talk about chasing your dreams! Now, rather than just saying “I do” in the beautiful Hawaiin islands, they’ll get to call it “home,” too! Paige admitted that if the last year hadn’t unfolded the way it did, their move to Maui wouldn’t have happened. 

I am so glad it did, because these two are so amazing and my morning with them was a dream!  I feel like the luckiest lady to have another set of cute clients that are now local friends.
