Hawaii Wedding Photographer Mersadi Olson shot Megan + Blake’s Waimea Valley Intimate Wedding. Megan and Blake got married with their favorite people present, their ceremony was intimate and thoughtful. Waimea Valley is nestled in the heart of Oahu’s north shore, it provides effortless beauty and is the perfect place for your wedding on Oahu.

Megan and Blake decided to ditch the party all together and instead focus on eachother. Knowing that eloping completely was not an option they got the best of both worlds. After their private ceremony in Waimea Valley they said goodbye to their people and we spent the next hour exploring the botanical gardens. The waterfall was raging and by the end of the night they had it to themselves. The lush greenery made for a simple yet very Hawaii style backdrop.

Another top priority for them was getting to hang out and play at sunset. Since we still had some time between exploring Waimea Valley and the sun going down we hit their favorite acai shop and they treated me to a huge acai bowl!! (LUCKY ME!!) The night couldn’t have gone better, we pulled in and right away there was parking at Waimea Bay, the beach was nearly empty, and the sun was shining so bright and golden. The warm Pacific Ocean graced them as they played and loved. Embraced the new and insanely beautiful chapter of their life. They danced, laughed, and loved all night. Took all the time they wanted to be fully present with each other while crossing all the important things off their list. They spent a week in Hawaii and headed home to celebrate again with their people, this time enjoying the party with them!
