Recently I had the opportunity to document Taylor and Rolenn’s maternity photos at the amazing Waimanalo Beach on Oahu. Their maternity photoshoot was special not only because it was at one of the most picturesque locations in Hawaii, but also because we actually photographed their wedding day as well! It was SO much fun getting to reconnect and experience some sunrise magic with these two as they head into this crazy, exciting, and joyful chapter of their lives together!

Our Session on Oahu’s Waimanalo Beach

Both Taylor and Rolenn were radiant during their maternity session on Waimanalo Beach, and not just because of the gorgeous golden rays of the sunrise! It was abundantly clear just how eager these two were to be in this magical period of life. From running along the pristine beach hand in hand, to showing off the photos from their ultrasound, there was an air of immense love and excitement that was present through it all. I had so much fun with them, and I’m SO happy I got to experience a little bit of their joy as they begin building their family together!

Maternity Photoshoots in Hawaii

There’s just something SO wonderful about maternity photoshoots, especially here in Hawaii. It’s such an amazing season of life. The excitement of the change to come, the calm before it happens, the anticipation of meeting your little one for the first time, it all comes together to create the one of a kind experience that it is. This special time in life feels all the more amazing when celebrated in a place as incredible as the Islands of Hawaii. Tons of options for stunning and serene backdrops, an abundance of phenomenal resorts for couples to choose from, and endless opportunities for some R&R make it the perfect place for a last getaway before your lives are truly changed!
