One of my favorite things about elopements is how they’re completely focused around the couple and what they want for their wedding day. In the case of Jiaye and Shuxiao that was a simple day where they could spend every moment with one another with absolutely zero stress involved. We pulled this vision off with flying colors thanks in part to their elopement taking place at the incredible Four Seasons Oahu at Ko Olina. Come with me as I relive this special elopement day and what made it SO much fun!

Getting Ready and a First Look at the Four Seasons Oahu

Anyone that’s been reading my blog for a while may recognize the Four Seasons at Ko Olina name, and that’s because I LOVE this venue. So much so that I’ve written a whole venue feature on the space as well as included it in my list of best locations to stay for your elopement on Oahu. For Jiaye and Shuxiao, they were able to have their entire elopement on location, which made their day SO easy and stress free for the two. They both got ready for their elopement together while in their room at the Four Seasons Oahu before Jiaye put her dress on. This let the two spend some time together to start the day and still have a first look which I loved! The grounds of the Four Seasons Oahu are stunning and gave the perfect tropical paradise feel for Jiaye and Shuxiao’s first look. 

Their Sunset Elopement on the Beach

After their first look it was time for their elopement ceremony on a secluded beach near the Four Seasons Oahu resort. By now you know how much I LOVE my sunset elopements on the beach, and this one was no exception! These two were about as picture perfect as the location they chose for their ceremony. They shared their vows as the sun set over the ocean behind them, and were beaming with joy as they exchanged rings! We took some time afterwards for newlywed portraits in this spectacular setting to end their elopement day in paradise.

Documenting Jiaye and Shuxiao’s elopement at the Four Seasons Oahu at Ko Olina was a dream come true from start to finish.
