There are no words that will ever be able to describe how phenomenal Macie and Tyler’s intimate California wedding was under the iconic redwoods. Their entire wedding was centered around love, God, and incredible people. The classic woodsy look was something that will never go out of style.

It is always a breath of fresh air to work with amazing vendors. Seeing couples at ease because they know they have picked a team of incredible creatives makes all the difference in the world. Katie from Atlas Design Studio executed Macie and Tyler’s vision perfectly. From the simplicity of the ceremony space, to the elegance of the sweetheart table Katie left us all speechless. She also worked closely with Amy West Floral to design classic floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the redwoods.

The invitation suite from Silver Plate Press blew my mind. You guys, this is leather! Yes, you read that right: a leather invitation! She also designed the custom vow books for the couple. Amanda is a wedding stationary genius and available world wide!

Now, let’s talk dresses! I just can’t get over the stunning dresses from BHLDN. Maci wore a classic gown for the ceremony…then broke out the fringe for her reception! Who doesn’t love a fun reception dress? And those velvet bridesmaid dresses! The colors were everything and really tied the whole look together. BHLDN knocks it out of the park again!

Tyler and his guys were dressed head to toe from The Black Tux. Timeless, timeless, timeless! This is the first time I’ve photographed a groom in a suit from The Black Tux, and I was so impressed by how well it fit and how amazing they looked!

And last but least, hair and makeup. I can’t even begin to tell you how vital it is to pick a hair and makeup artist who is going to make you look and feel your best. I can’t say enough good things about Meghan from Kauai Wedding Hair and Makeup who traveled in all the way from Hawaii! Meghan glammed up Maci and her girls, and then stayed through the entire day for touch ups.

The reception also featured some incredible vendors, including the cake by Johanna of hansbakes. It was not only beautiful but was also the best tasting cake I have ever eaten! Tap Truck was also such a hit with the guests! The fresh beer they provide truly embodied that California redwood feel, and it was the perfect touch to celebrate! These guys are about as fun as they come!

Congratulations, Maci and Tyler!
