Rebecca and Tim’s wedding day was one that was overflowing with joy from the very beginning. That joy of course came from the now newlyweds, but also from their incredible group of family and friends that were there to celebrate with them. The wedding day took place at the stunning 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay on Kauai, and I am beyond ecstatic to share the highlights from the day with you here today!

Getting Ready and First Looks

With their wedding day happening at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay things could not have been simpler for Rebecca and Tim when it came time to get ready for their day. The two were able to get ready in the comfort of their hotel rooms with the support and excitement of their wedding parties and close family. It was the perfect start to what was sure to be a perfect wedding day. Once dressed and ready, Rebecca and Tim had scheduled time for some first looks prior to their ceremony. First was Rebecca’s first look with Tim, whose reaction was absolutely PRICELESS! Rebecca also had a first look with her father which was such a sweet moment. They took advantage of the beautiful ocean views from Kauai’s north shore for some family photos and couples photos before it was time to head to their ceremony space.

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay

1 Hotel Hanalei Bay of Kauai has 4 separate spaces to choose from for couples looking to celebrate their wedding at the hotel, one of which is the breathtaking Kamani Cove which would be the ceremony space for Rebecca and Tim. Even with the chance of rain Rebecca and Tim were still able to comfortably use this outdoor space thanks to the venue’s large clear tent. Thankfully the rain skipped over them, and the overcast provided the perfect lighting for the first half of their day. 

Seemingly in on the plan of the day though, the sun decided to pierce through the overcast as Rebecca entered the ceremony space. Talk about making an entrance! It was a thoroughly beautiful ceremony, one that had both Rebecca and Tim shouting with joy as they officially became newlyweds. Cocktail hour would follow the ceremony, which the newlyweds were also able to enjoy alongside their guests thanks to family photos already being done earlier in the day. 

An Indoor Reception with Friends and Family

For their wedding reception, Rebecca and Tim chose to move things to 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay’s indoor space named Kōlea! The room was spacious, well lit, and an ideal choice for Rebecca and Tim to dance the night away alongside their friends and family. Of course no wedding day on Kauai’s north shore would be complete without some newlywed photos at sunset, which Rebecca and Tim were sure to make time for! The evening was filled with so many fun, memorable, and heartfelt moments that Rebecca and Tim will adore being able to relive and look back on for years and years to come.
