Liz and Chris’ wedding at Kukui’ula on the island of Kauai was inspiring in many ways, but one thing that REALLY stuck out to me is the effort they put into the details of their day. Everything from the invites they sent out, to the welcome sign of their reception, and every aspect in between had a beautiful and cohesive vision. Thanks to Liz and Chris’ vision as well as the help of their incredible vendor team, we were able to create a dream wedding experience that I am so excited to share with you all.

Getting Ready for the Day

Liz started off her wedding day on location getting ready at Kukui’ula on Kauai with her closest friends and family. There was such a fun energy to the start of the day and you could really tell how excited everyone was for the day, most of all Liz! Those that have been following me for a bit may think they recognize this venue, and you’d be right. I recently put out a different blog covering a wedding at Kukui’ula, and it is quickly becoming a favorite wedding venue of mine on Kauai. After getting ready, a little bit of wine, and some bridal portraits it was time to make our way to the ceremony space to meet up with Chris.

Wedding Ceremony at Kukui’ula on Kauai

One of the main draws of Kukui’ula on Kauai as a wedding venue is how breathtaking of a ceremony space the venue has. The ceremony space is located underneath a massive and gorgeous tree which really gives the space a lush and natural feel to it. The white florals on their centerpiece, decorating the chairs, and lining the aisle all added to the magical feeling of the space and really tied it into the style of the rest of their wedding day details. After their ceremony Liz and Chris shared a quick glass of champagne before we got to take advantage of this beautiful space with some portrait photos. Before long though it was time to head to their reception space to celebrate with their guests!

Their Fun Filled Reception

I mentioned earlier just how much care was put into the details of Liz and Chris’ wedding, and there’s no better example to this than just how immaculate their reception space was. Everything fit together perfectly, between the furniture rentals, custom wedding signs, and the décor of the tables, they didn’t overlook a single detail! Kukui’ula on Kauai also added to the experience they were looking to have for their wedding day as the venue’s reception space was the perfect fit for their day. Aside from sneaking off for some newlywed portraits during sunset, Liz and Chris spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying their time with their guests. Their evening was full of speeches, cake cutting, conversations with friends and family, and of course a WHOLE lot of dancing!

I don’t think there was a single piece of Liz and Chris’ wedding day at Kukui’ula on Kauai that they would have done differently if they could! These two put so much effort into crafting their day, and that combined with the dream team of vendors they put together made for a day they’ll never forget.
