When you picture a family session on the north shore of Oahu you probably think of sandy beaches and a family playing in the water. There is SO much more to Oahu than its’ sandy beaches though. And the lush greens that do make up the island make for the perfect backdrop for a family session in Hawaii. Check out their insanely beautiful sunset session in the mountains of Oahu’s north shore!
Cox Ohana
The Cox’s seriously could not have had better weather conditions for their family session. We had their family session at sunset on Oahu’s north shore and along with the gorgeous sun setting between the mountains, we also got a foggy haze which made the lighting SO beautiful. Working with the Cox family was just as much a dream as the setting was. With their 4 children the family was constantly bursting with laughter and smiles making the entire session so much fun. Throughout their session we worked in some candid photos, family portraits, and solo portraits to really give their album and their family session overall a well rounded feel to it. I also have to mention that the entire family’s outfits were on point. Just the cutest neutral tone outfits that really tied the whole look of their session together!
Family Sessions on Oahu
The Cox family really took advantage of the beautiful landscape of Oahu’s north shore for their session. Aside from these gorgeous mountains though, Oahu and its north shore are home to some spectacularly stunning beaches and some of the most beautiful greenery on the island. It’s an incredible area for any photography session, family sessions here are a blast though. Whether you’re running together on the beach and playing in the water or looking out over a vast and beautiful mountain gorge you’re set for an incredible family session either way.
Working with the Cox family throughout their family session on Oahu’s north shore was such an amazing experience. They’re a truly wonderful ohana and were so much fun to work with, it made their session a total breeze!
