When Patrick reached out to me about wanting to propose to Kimberly during their session at Kualoa Regional Park, I was over the moon with excitement.  We decided that we would plan their Hawaii proposal to happen about halfway through their session at Kualoa Ranch.  This way Kimberly wouldn’t be onto us, and we were able to document her reaction and ALL of the emotions that came after their proposal! 

About Kimberly and Patrick

Kimberly and Patrick have been doing long distance for their relationship, Bali – California, so meeting in Hawaii was extra special for them!  Not only were they having the best time together soaking up all that Hawaii sun and culture, but they also decided to take some photos to document this amazing time in their lives.  Little did Kimberly know, Patrick and I were planning their Hawaii proposal at Kualoa Ranch! So when their session went from a couples session to a proposal, to an engagement session, they were bursting with joy and we had SO much fun celebrating this extra special time for them together!  

Their Proposal at Kualoa Regional Park

When we planned their proposal in Hawaii ahead of time, Patrick and I decided that the pier in Kualoa Regional Park would be the perfect location for him to pop the question to Kimberly.  We started by walking around some of the fields that make up the park surrounded by mountains.  Prior to their session, we had decided that when they got onto the pier at the park, Patrick would get down on one knee then. 

Once we arrived at that portion of Kualoa, I let Patrick and Kimberly walk ahead of me so that they could have a moment together before the surprise proposal.  I stayed back a bit and let Patrick ask the love of his life to marry him!  Kimberly was so surprised and excited, it was such an amazing moment to be a part of.  After the proposal, we walked around the beach and watched the sunset on this awesome day together.  I LOVED being a part of their proposal.
