Monica and Brad’s engagement session on the coast of San Diego was the perfect way to end their trip. We met up on one of the beaches near the southern California city and had THE best sunset beach session together!

Sunset on the Beach

If you’ve been following my work for a bit then you know just how much I love a session on the beach at sunset. Between the gorgeous colors in the sky reflecting off the water, the warm sand in between your toes, and just the best vibe imaginable, sunset sessions on the beach really can’t be beat in my mind. Being a photographer from Hawaii I’ve become very familiar and experienced when it comes to engagement sessions on the beach, so Monica and Brad’s session in San Diego was right up my alley. I’m so happy with how these photos came out and the three of us had such a good time capturing these moments together!

San Diego Engagement Session

For Monica and Brad’s engagement session in San Diego we started with Monica and Brad both cozying up and loving on one another down by the water. One of the many reasons I love sessions on the beach is the number of fun things there are to do on the beach. You can lay in the sand, run through the water or along the shore, and so much more! During Monica and Brad’s session, we made our way to some nearby boulders for some of the photos which turned out absolutely incredible. Every beach is different which is why they are some of my favorite settings to photograph in. The Sunset Cliffs are completely different than the beaches at La Jolla, so there’s always something new and fun to experience!
